I was born in UK in 1965 lived here until I was 8, and then moved to St Helena Island in the South Atlantic Ocean.
This Island is a British Overseas Territory. It has a varied history. For example discovered in 1502, it was where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled to, and is still a beautiful place to visit.
Although a bit behind the times it has a few websites. The Government website is at http://www.sainthelena.gov.sh/ which gives a limited look at the way the island government is run.
I left St Helena and arrived back in England in October 2007, traveling via the island ship, the "RMS St Helena".
It feels great to be back Home again, but, there is a lot to get used to here.
